Promoted to Ouidad Master Artistic Educator.
Chadwick Pendley, of Hair by Chadwick & Igor, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was recently promoted to Master Artistic Educator of Ouidad Company, New York, known as “the curl experts.”
Previously a Ouidad Certified Stylist, Chadwick has skyrocketed in the Ouidad company due to his unique cutting and styling talents and his outstanding inspirational leadership skills. He has an uncanny knack for empowering other stylists to exceed in their craft and improve upon the set of skills they possess.
“From the moment you meet Chadwick you know that something special is about to happen,” said Cody Fullerton, Vice President, Sales and Education, Ouidad. “He has an allure to his demeanor all of his own, and when he speaks, his passion for curly hair and life begins to excite you. His educational style is filled with undiscovered solutions that make stylists and clients alike keep coming back for more. If you ever get a chance to meet Chadwick, you won’t ever forget him and your hair will thank you for it!”
In his new role, Chadwick now leads the trademarked Ouidad curly hair cutting certification process at the company’s flagship salons in New York City and Los Angeles. He also visits certified salons and meets one-on-one with stylists who previously were certified, offering tips and advice to help them evolve even further in their styling careers.
“I am very excited to play a key role in the growing Ouidad community of talented hairstylists all across America where clients with naturally curly hair, who have suffered from improper haircuts and styling techniques, have a place they can seek out and finally feel great about their hair and themselves,” Chadwick said about his promotion. “When I first became Ouidad Certified, it changed my life! Now I wish to give to others what was given to me almost a decade ago by Ouidad, one of our industry’s true leaders. She continues to inspire and mentor me. I proudly call Ouidad my friend.
“I am energized to be part of the Ouidad company’s growth as we extend our arms out to those with naturally curly hair who now can feel not only beautiful but also sexy as we branch out into the new realm of fashion show appearances and publication editorial pages, where fashion and beauty empower and instill confidence,” Chadwick continued.
Along with teaching, Chadwick now also styles hair in Ouidad photo shoots in Manhattan, recently was selected to style hair at private shows for New York Fashion Week and conducts interviews with fashion and beauty magazines, such as Elle, on how to work with curly hair as part of his new role as Master Artistic Educator for Ouidad Company.
